Salvation of this country from total fiscal collapse happen only if the case can be made, in an understandable manner, to the 60 percent of Americans who now “pay the bills” that it was our federal government(OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES AND PRESIDENTS, of both parties), that led our descent into a state of fiscal irresponsibility over the last half-century – to perpetuate themselves in office: the curse of democracy. Actually what really happened was the boomers watched Popeye cartoons and adopted the economic “style” of the character in Popeye cartoons who always said “I’ll gladly pay you tommorow for a hamburger today.” Now the boomers have taught their kids that and their kids are passing it on to their kids.
